Coventry: A Global City

Coventry: A Global City

In conjunction with the BFPG, this event looked at Coventry's national and global profile at Coventry University.

There were two panel discussions, the first on innovation and economic growth, including speakers from Warwick Business School and the Consulate General of India, with topics of discussion including low wages, broadband connectivity and developing an innovative environment. The second panel included speakers from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Coventry University, and looked at the use of procurement to boost local growth, taking advantage of Coventry being the 2021 City of Culture and using sports as a form of soft power.
