Our aim is to provide independent assessment and analysis of the region’s prospects within a global economic context. Through our regular publications, Midlands Perspectives (quarterly) and Midlands Regional Monitor (monthly) as well regular topic briefings and sectoral reports, we provide the latest updates and forecasts of local economic performance as international events impact regionally. Bringing together the business, public and voluntary sectors, we provide a neutral forum to assess and debate the accuracy of regional data, forecasts and recent insights into a wide range of industries including manufacturing, services and ManuServices. At the forefront of economic developments, and challenge economic orthodoxy and ideas using the latest economic data from a range of sources, working with IHS Markit, ONS, HMRC, BoE and other organisations. Our aim is to provide a platform for the Midlands as one of the most dynamic and resilient economies in the world.
