Business Breakfast - Project Finance Reloaded

13 September 2013

Lakeside Conference Centre

WMEF - Platforms for Growth Series

The main focus of the breakfast will be the suitability of project finance structured facilities to fund SME growth and expansion. In particular, securing finance for retooling has proved problematic for smaller companies as the bespoke nature of this type of capital investment often falls outside the risk criteria generally adopted by banks – project finance offers a potential solution. Similarly project finance facilities could offer scope for service sector SMEs to fund specific expansion strategies.

Following registration and breakfast at 0730, proceedings will commence at 0755 with an introduction from George Feiger Dean, Aston Business School. At 0800 there will be a presentation by Richard Burden, MP for Northfield on the Current Business Climate, followed by the main presentation on Project Finance by Carmel de Nahlik, Aston Business School. There then will be a panel discussion comprising key project finance specialists (participants currently being confirmed). This session will also include Q&A. The breakfast will conclude promptly at 0930, with the opportunity for informal networking until 1000.

This event is part of the Platform for Growth series. The event is free of charge but delegates must register in advance at: mail@westmidlandseconomicforum.co.uk
