The Government’s White Paper on Industry Strategy marks a major new initiative to boost the international competitiveness of manufacturing and provide the platform for expanding Intelligent manufacturing. Given the importance of manufacturing to the national economy, how can the sector take advantage of the new opportunities being made available. Furthermore, in the context of Brexit, and indeed the wider global economy, how can the Strategy be utilised to sustain and expand exports?
