Black Country Prospects in India and Wider Region

2 October 2013

The Hawthorns, West Bromwich, B71 4LF

Black Country Export Prospects Business Breakfast Series

The focus of the breakfast will be the export potential between the Black Country and India & the wider region. Despite the recent downturn in the Indian economy we believe that India still remains a key export prospect. In particular, India accounts for 1.4% of Midlands export demand, and the UK overall provides 1.6% of all imports. With no other European country ranked in India’s top five sources of goods, we believe there is significant upside for the West Midlands. Similarly, the UK is the most significant consumer of India’s exports (2.9%).

This event is part of the Black Country Export Prospects Business Breakfast Series which are held on the first Wednesday of each month at The Hawthorns, West Bromwich from 0700 until 0900, followed by the Black Country Export Clinic until 1000.
